ETC’s Extreme Temperature Air Handler provides users with the ability to accurately control a wide range of temperature, humidity and airflow rate conditions. This system can be designed to utilize independent DX cooling or facility chilled fluid and either electric, hot water or steam heating.
ETC’s low temperature air-handler are designed with a reinforced housing that can handle high pressure and sub-atmospheric pressure applications up to 14” WG including heavy duty access doors that allow for near zero leakage. This reduces the time between system defrost cycles and external condensation issues. The air handlers can be located indoors on a mezzanine or outdoors.
The system can be designed with an internal recirculation mode eliminating the need to condition in a single pass for reduced capacity testing. If a DX system is included, an new environmentally friendly refrigerant will be selected that meets the customer’s needs.
ETC’s controls system is a state-of-the-art, proprietary technology system for calculations, reporting and data collection. The application software package manages and maintains a database of UUT information including setpoints and profiles. The Allen Bradley PLC system is monitored by a PC in a supervisory fashion allowing real time control and safety interlocking of the test process as well as remote access for an ETC technician to troubleshoot or make tuning adjustments.
